Numerous other former students have spoken of everything from physical abuse, watching helplessly as another student was suffering after being beaten with golf clubs, sexual assault and more.
God bless you, Kim. You’re right, “homes” such as New Bethany need to be closed and those who abuse children prosecuted. We hear you.

I was there in the early 90’s…. trapped in a concrete building with no windows, a 10 ft fence, no real contact from the outside world except our parents…. afraid to comllain cuz “mamma Nora” wouldd whip the hell outta u…. I was so thankful when I turned 18 & got the hell outa there…. its been 20 yrs & I will never forget the mental & ememotional scars left by New Bethany
